Nov 23, 2009. BBA students from Skyline College went for an adventurous trip to Jim Corbett. The group stays at Ashok tiger trail resort during their trip. It was an unforgettable experience for students. Here the students sharing their experience:
“If heaven falls somewhere it was at Jim Corbett”. Journey to Corbett started on 23rd Nov. we were in lap of nature with everlasting greenery surrounding our resort. On our arrival we were given a warm welcome by staffs.
We went for nature walk in two groups of 10 each along with guide. It was a totally new experience for all of us. Walking deep inside the jungle & visualizing the wildlife like fox, deer etc right in front of us was amazing. It was a perfect blend of thrill & adventure. Jungle safari was the most enjoyable moment of trip, full of fun & frolic. We saw the core areas of forest from the jeep along with some wildlife as well like monkeys, elephant’s etc. Refreshment was arranged inside the forest. From the watch tower we saw deep areas of forest. It revenjuated all of us, clear & fresh mind, boosted energy within ourselves.
During our leisure time, we use to enjoy facilities available at resort like swimming, playing pool, carom, chess, table tennis or just walking around the resort, photography etc. Every night we had bonfire. It was complete entertainment. We gossiped about fewer interesting things of our life, danced, played games etc followed by dinner.
Sightseeing tour to waterfall & temple was enthralling. The place was full of greenery with a fall in between. It was a complete nature’s gift having breath taking beauty. The staffs at the resort took care of all our needs. Food was very good. They showed us “Atithi Devo Bhava” & warm hospitality
Overall experience of Jim Corbett was implausible. A place where peace meets pristine beauty. Far away from city crowd & lifestyle, a complete new environment for relaxation, fun, entertainment, adventure with a pinch of thrill. All of us got everlasting memories for lifetime. It was great…!!!
